Becamex Tower is a high-end office building located at the intersection of Binh Duong Boulevard and 30/4 Street. The 25-story building, with a floor area of 1,200 m², houses a shopping center, office spaces, and various amenities. The entire building is equipped with a 100% backup power system and a central air conditioning system.
To meet these demands, the building is equipped with two large Huu Toan generators, rated at 1,110 kVA and 1,790 kVA, respectively. These open-frame generators, powered by MTU engines and STAMFORD alternators, are located in the basement. Notably, these generators are housed in soundproof rooms, custom-designed and constructed by Huu Toan. Without traditional generator enclosures, these rooms are specifically engineered to minimize noise while maintaining optimal operating conditions for the generators. The rooms feature robust walls constructed with materials such as bricks, stones, and concrete, capable of withstanding various weather conditions. Additional soundproofing materials, including acoustic foam, XPS foam, and fiberglass, are layered to further reduce noise. The final layer is a perforated galvanized steel sheet. This design not only ensures excellent noise reduction but also facilitates efficient heat dissipation and easy maintenance.
