II. Roles & Responsibilities
Role purpose: Maximize the business value of the product portfolio by championing the customer and market voice across the full lifecycle. Own product development end-to-end, from idea and validation to launch and continuous improvement to keep the portfolio competitive and profitable.
1. Product Portfolio Management
Gather and analyze data on target segments, buyers, regulations/standards, channels, and competitors (specs, configurations, service, and pricing).
Track and update the status of current products (technical specs, production lifecycle, improvements)
Maintain product documentation and support product reporting (performance, feedback, roadmap)
2. Requirement Gathering & Product Planning
Consolidate requirements for new products from market, customers, and internal teams; translate into business-level product requirements
Identify market needs, technical issues, and opportunities for improvement for current products
Support the preparation of product specifications for new or updated products
Build business cases (demand, target GM, risks and mitigations) and submit for approval via the Stage-Gate process.
3. Product Development Coordination
Coordinate cross-functional teams (R&D, manufacturing, sales, etc.) in product development projects
Follow up on project timelines, risks, and deliverables
Prepare and deliver regular updates to stakeholders
4. Testing & Market Launch Support
Assist in organizing prototype testing and field trials
Collect and consolidate test feedback for engineering teams
Coordinate product readiness activities (documentation, training materials, internal communications)
5. Communication & Change Coordination
Represent the business unit in CRID (Change Requests, Risks, Issues, Decisions) meetings
Coordinate business readiness, go/no-go decisions, and rollout planning
Communicate product updates to internal teams and stakeholders
III. Job requirement
• Bachelor's in Engineering, Business, or related fields
• 1+ years in project management within manufacturing, ideally in power generation
• Knowledge of generator systems and supply chain coordination
• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, etc.), ERP systems and Excel/ PowerBI
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
